Planned Breedings
We don't have many breedings as we feel the need to prove our dogs before they enter the program is extremely important. When selecting a puppy to become part of the team, we test them in many different areas. We want structurally correct, well tempered dogs only. By doing the shows, we can see how they will stack up against others in the breed. The pups are also tested for temperament at shows. They need to be comfortable around many different people and dogs and be able to deal with the stress that may bring. Judges handling them is another big hurdle they must conquer. Once they prove themselves in the ring, health testing commences. When they pass all their health tests, then they become part of the crew.

As we don't keep many males, we do a lot of research on outside dogs to possibly use with our girls. They must be proven and health tested before consideration. I try to match the best two dogs for what I am trying to accomplish and that takes time. The selection process is harder then you may think. In most cases, we have taken years to find the right male for each female we select to breed.

We don't breed to sell puppies! We breed to better our kennel
